PLAN YOUR VISIT

We are excited that you are interested in learning more about MSSR and what we have to offer for your family. We suggest that parents observe our class in session.

1. VISIT

Families are welcome to visit our classroom during operating hours. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.

2. OBSERVE

We suggest that parents observe our class in session as they consider our school. It is necessary to make appointments for observations.

3. APPLY

After careful consideration of our program, parents may fill out an application form for their children. An application fee of $75.00 is due at the time of application. If the class is full, the child's name will be entered on the waiting list.

4. INTERVIEW

Informal interviews are held prior to all admissions. Teachers spend time with the child in the classroom, talking and presenting short lessons. Interviews are opportunities for teachers to meet prospective students and for parents to talk with us about our school and the Montessori principles we follow. We encourage families to consider carefully how our curriculum might support their values and goals for their children.

5. ENROLL

When students are offered a place at MSSR, parents and teachers will discuss enrollment dates.  Children may be enrolled at any time during the school year. Registration forms and fees ($250) are due at enrollment.

Children who cannot be accomodated immediately may be placed on a waiting list for enrollment as openings occur.  Enrollment priority is given to families committed to completing the three year development cycle through the Kindergarten year.
